Catch Up...Part 1

Oh dear...was it really March since I last posted?  I had grand plans of keeping up with all of our memories on this blog.  I really love the idea of recording the little everyday moments that make our lives so special.  I don't want to forget these times with my kiddos!

So...here goes the highlights from April!

I have been Chairperson for our school's  Book Fair for the last four years.  Watching how excited the students are about the books makes all the work worth it!

Our school spirit week kicked off with Mustache Monday...

And a tug of war competition.  Love all the kiddos in their mustaches!

The week ended with a DANCE!  With being an elementary, it wasn't a "dance" dance.  We did have a DJ, but he kept it very hokey pokey-esk.   So fun to see!

We had beach day to go along with the ocean theme of the dance, hence the
crazy Hawaiian shirt.

And then it was Easter!  I loved being able to do three baskets this year-and finding fun little chalkboards I could monogram!
After church we went to lunch with Jeremy's parents.  Love this picture of Charlotte and Diane!

We hosted my family for Easter this year.  Our tables settings  had some special meaning this year.  The china is from my grandmother on my father's side and the silver is my grandmother (otherwise known as Gammie) on my mother's.  I know the table looks a little crowded...but it came from my Gammie so it is a forever table.  At some point I would like to have a carpenter widen it so we can have food on the table instead of having to serve buffet style.

Happy Family!
I have been dreaming of monogrammed bloomers since I heard the words "It's a girl"

The next day Mason looked so serious...I said "Mason, aren't you excited?  It's a GRAND bunny!  He stopped, looked at it, and said "Well...he's not grand anymore!"  Silly kid!
