This Monday especially stunk. After three months plus of snow, -35 degree weather, ice and more snow we finally had a beautiful Sunday followed by a almost as beautiful Monday. And how did I spend it? Out for a walk with a friend? Playing with my kiddos? Doing some tending to our much neglected yard? Nope. Sick. Forget the other four letter "S" word...this is the one that strikes fear in the heart of every mother out there.
My family managed to have some fun while I was under the weather. Saturday afternoon Mason had a playdate with his sweet friend J while Logan and Jeremy spent some Father/Son time making a paracord bracelet.
Sunday morning would normally be spent at church, but yours truly needed a trip to the walk-in clinic with a follow up to Walmart pharmacy. While we waited for my prescription to be filled, Jer and the boys picked out more paracord so Mason could join the survival jewelry craze and make a necklace.
Check out Mr. Crazy hair in the pic above. Honestly it's like Mason's hair goes from being fine to wild man within a weeks time. A haircut for this guy is definitely on my to-do list for the week!
Sunday afternoon my sweet hubby showed off some of his daddy skills and took all three kiddos for a walk with his Dad. The two nicer afternoons we've had this winter, Charlotte and I have gotten out for a walk with her packed into the Baby Bjorn and she has LOVED it. I was feeling bad that she wouldn't get to enjoy this nice weather with me being sick, so her daddy took her. It definitely was a heart warming sight to see them walk off together!
