I feel like my children's lives are moving in fast forward. Logan is getting ready to start third (third!?) grade in three weeks. Wasn't it just a year ago I was getting him ready for 4k??? And Mason my baby, is off to first grade! Part of me is so excited for them. They love school and we are blessed with a wonderful one full of some of the best teachers out there who love my kiddos like one of their own. But part of me just wants them to stay little and is not ready for them to be so independent (though the thought of having a newborn at home does make me grateful for that newfound independence!)
I have often said that I wish I could freeze them at each age for a little while longer so I could savor all the little things for a little while longer. I worry about forgetting the things they say and do. I am hoping to use this blog to keep an online scrapbook of our lives (and I'm counting on the grandparents to keep me accountable!) So...here we are. Our lives aren't very interesting, but I hope to keep the right people entertained!
